Michael Winkler Charged

Police Officer Michael Winkler, formerly of the 15th District, was charged in Bucks County for robbery and related offenses on Friday.Winkler Charged

Winkler has a history of cowboy tactics and it simply didn’t work out for him this time.  Winkler, who was on duty at the time of the crime, allegedly robbed a contractor after having a verbal dispute with him on the telephone.

Winkler then drove a city vehicle to Bucks County where he allegedly assaulted the contractor.  He grabbed the contractor by the neck and forced him to hand over his bank card and took cash from his pockets.  Cop Robbed Contractor In Bucks County

Winkler dialed 911 and insisted the contractor be arrested, after calling his police supervisor and requesting to be taken off and carried vacation.  Cowboy Cop Charged

This incident is eerily similar to another incident in which he did the same thing to another citizen, Mr. James Morrell, his wife and step-daughter.  Cop Gets Sued For Assault In Man’s Home

According to that lawsuit,  “As a result of the alleged assault, John Morell sustained various physical injuries, the lawsuit claims, including severe head trauma, post-concussion syndrome, tooth loss, nasal fracture and septal deviation, aggravation of pre-existent bilateral knee pathology, headaches, and other injuries.”

John Morrell asserted that a city solicitor advised him in summary that he was surprised he didn’t shoot him.  With a statement like that, it becomes clear the City of Philadelphia knew about their hire.

Winkler, who has been on desk duty since May, was released on an unsecured bond of $200,000.00.

Trump Water Given to Prisoners In 1st District

Prisoners in the 1st Police District are complaining.  It’s not the normal “when am I going to be released?”, “can I make a phone call”, “it’s too cold in here”, or “can I speak with a supervisor”.

Prisoners are complaining because the vendor for the prisoner meals have served “Trump Water”.  It is packaged water with a “Trump” endorsement.

Black prisoners have reportedly asserted they are scared the water is not safe.  I guess the vendor the City of Philadelphia has hired to serve cheese and water has taken a liberty that should not have taken.

 

 

Admitted Liar Christopher Hulmes Gets A Deal

Admitted perjurer former Officer Christopher Hulmes has been the sweetheart deal of the century.  Since when does the District Attorney’s Officer offer the first time offender program to people charged with felonies?  And when is a first time offender still a first time offender, even though Hulmes was arrested for DUI earlier in the year.  This is outrageous.

As a result of his arrest, hundreds of cases are in jeopardy of being tossed.  Lying Cop Could Void Arrests  This guy denied being a liar to the end.  Hulmes Insists he was truthfulHulmes, who admitted in open court to a sitting judge, that he falsified paperwork, continued working on the street for many months after the transgression.  This case, which resulted in another black eye for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office after Philadelphia City Paper did a series that exposed the facts the DA’s office continually called the cop to testify, after knowing he was a liar.  Furthermore, the Police Department failed to remove him from the street.  Cop admitted to Lying in Open Court

Even after this Officer embarrassed the District Attorney’s Office DA’s Black Eye over One Lying Cop and the Police Department, the DA’s office took the “unusual” step of giving this liar a sweetheart deal.

This officer was only arrested after the expose’ of the City Paper.  Officer Arrested After City Paper Investigation  It was rumored that many other officers reported this cop to other law enforcement agencies for years, regarding this matter, to no avail.  It was finally taken to the media.

An honest former ADA, AJ Thomson, was terminated because he was suddenly producing substandard work after refusing to put this lying cop on the stand and questioning the reasoning behind the DA’s office continuing to call him to testify.  DA vs Lying Cop  Thomson really did battle with his then supervisor, ADA Jackie McCauley, who also happened to be married to a Narcotics Officer, Joseph McCauley,  who was friends with Hulmes.  Many have asserted that Hulmes was very confident, almost cocky about the outcome of this criminal case.

The problem is this officer, like many others who have been similarly situated, allegedly has had multiple affairs with various ADA’s.  One has to wonder if this is why this guy gets the break of the century.  Especially considering he has been arrested multiple times in the last year.  Isn’t it the “first time” offenders program?  Unless DUI’s don’t count.

This is the same ADA, Terri Domsky, who has prosecuted many other white cops, including former Officer Doug DiEmedio, among other, who all got sweetheart deals.  One has to wonder why?  What is the commonality?  Prosecutors protect corrupt cops  Once again, it comes back to double standards.  This entire situation should be investigated.

This goes back to the theft by Lieutenant Raymond Murphy, from PECO who continues to work and have not been charged.   Double Standards.  In the Murphy case, there is compelling and overwhelming evidence that Murphy committed a crime.  Everyone else involved in the scheme, has been arrested in the suburbs.Philadelphia Man Arrested In Bucks County For Stealing Electricity in 5 Counties  The same with theft of LIHEAP funds by Lieutenant Harold K. Narcotics Six Lawsuit Tossed By Federal Judge

A federal Judge dismissed the lawsuit filed against former Mayor Michael Nutter, former Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey and two other top law enforcement officials last week.  Lawsuit Tossed

The plaintiffs, Thomas Liciardello, Michael Spicer, Perry Betts, Brian Reynolds, John Speiser and Linwood Norman, were accused by the Feds of conspiracy to rob and extort drug dealers.  Robert Otto, who was also a plaintiff in the suit, was not criminally charged.Bobby Otto v Seth Williams, etal

The officers were acquitted in their criminal trial and reinstated with back pay, and their personnel records cleared.

In his 16 page memorandum, the judge held that the pleading resembled a “press release” rather than a pleading.

Christopher Mannix, attorney for the plaintiff asserted there is still stigma associated with the officers.  Mannix is considering appealing the decision.

FRANK FINA RESIGNS

It has been rumored that Frank Fina, the racist, sexist, homophobic email sending prosecutor in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office, has resigned.

Seth Williams, who probably couldn’t be elected dog catcher in Philadelphia, has yet to publicly announce the resignation.

Fina the Freak, as he is often referred to, is one of the three who left the Attorney General’s office and came to the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.

Fina is in the middle of “Porngate”.  It has long been questioned as to why Fina didn’t resign and the light must have finally turned on for the racist, sexist Prosecutor.  Why Doesn’t Fina Quit?

Williams, who has been under pressure to fire the three prosecutors has steadfastly refused to do so, and finally announced he did give the prosectors “sensitivity” training.  It seems that the entire crew who came from the Attorney General’s office, including one Claude Thompson, whom Williams recently appointed Chief County Detective for the District Attorney’s Office, was problematic.  Claude Thompson Promotion

Someone needs to tell this guy, that if you stop a car in Philadelphia, you must comply with documenting that car stop.  Ol Claude probably didn’t appreciate Chief Inspector Joseph Sullivan making him look foolish.  This guy deserved a promotion in the District Attorney’s Office though.

But then again, this is the same District Attorney’s office who continually called an admitted perjurer, Philadelphia Police Officer Christopher Hulmes, to testify.  Lying Cop Arrested for Perjury.  Hulmes is on trial currently after finally being charged.

The entire District Attorney’s Office is experiencing a high level of tension and morale is definitely affected.  Another female prosecutor, Laurie Malone, was demoted after allegedly recommending that John “Johnny Doc” Doughtery, the Local 98 leader, be arrested after he allegedly threw a punch at a non-union electrician.   Deputy DA Demoted After Recommending Charges

Malone is now overseeing criminal complaints.  A similar fate was received by former ADA AJ Thomson, whom also found himself on the wrong side of the DA’s brass when he refused to allow a lying cop to continue to testify in criminal cases.  Thomson was subsequently terminated.  Allegedly because his w  ork suddenly became sub-standard.  DA speaks out against lying cop

24th District Cop Pinched By Feds

Officer Thomas Vitanovitz, of the 24th District was charged with extortion for allegedly theft from a drug dealer while he was working in the 24th District.

It has been alleged that Vitanovitz took pills from the drug dealer and failed to place them on a property receipt.  The incident happened last July.

The officer has told a reporter from the Daily News that he had a drug problem.  The officer said he has been clean for a year.  According to the article, the ex-officer said getting arrested saved his life.  Although the drug dealer had money on him, he only took the pills, he says, to feed his addiction.  Officer says he had a drug problem

Seth Williams Probed By Feds

Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams is being probed by the feds.  FBI agents visited a landlord of Seth Williams ex-wife, Sonita Williams, over a sweetheart rental deal.  According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, FBI agents visited Robert Herdelin, who owns a property that he owns in Drexel Hill and is renting to Sonita Williams.  Feds Probe Seth Williams over Shady Rent for Ex

Herdelin admitted the property could easily rent for $2500.00 a month, but agreed to rent it to Sonita Williams for $1,000.00 a month.

The FBI has been sniffing around his campaign “Friends of Seth Williams” for the last year.  Rumor has it there is a grand jury working in conjunction with the FBI and the IRS.

Seth Williams has long been a target about his messiness regarding his finances.  Williams, it was reported closed down “Friends of Seth Williams”.

Shortly after the FBI visited Herdelin, he immediately raised rent to the market rate of $2500.00 and the financially challenged ex-wife of Williams, immediately moved out.

Maybe that’s why the Philadelphia District Attorney believes it is okay to attend a party for another indicted politician.  Seth got a “shout-out” from indicted State Senator Larry Farnese after attending a fundraiser for the State Senator at the Waterworks.

This explains alot.  This is why Williams have steadfastly refused to fire his staffers whom he hired after it was revealed they were involved in Porngate.  Seth Williams moved Frank Fina, E.
