Corporal Stephen J. Ballard Murderer Killed

Delaware State Police Corporal Stephen J. Ballard was killed in the line of duty by murderer Burgon Sealy Jr., 26 of Middletown, Delaware.

Sealy was killed by the State Police at 9:17am, this morning, when he emerged from the home firing shots at the police.  The killer had the neighborhood under siege since he killed the hero cop.  The neighbors were evacuated and were living in emergency shelter provided by the Red Cross.

Corporal Ballard was killed in the parking lot of a Bear, Delaware Wawa convenience store by Sealy.  Sealy then fled to the home where family member notified the police.  Sealy had been barricaded in his home until an armored police vehicle hit the house owned by his father.

During gunfights overnight police in Delaware appear to have blown apart every window&door of wanted trooper killer’s home @FOX29philly

RIP Corporal Ballard.  Hero to us all!

Officer Adam Soto, was formally charged today with the death of Danny Dimitri on January 31, 2017, while reportedly drag racing with another off-duty police officer on Cottman and Algon Streets in Northeast Philadelphia.

Soto was charged with Homicide by Vehicle and Involuntary Manslaughter.  The charges came after a determined family, followed this story and fought hard to get justice for their brother, son and uncle.

Two other off-duty officers were involved in the incident.  The driver of the other vehicle, has been identified as Tony Forest.  Forest has been suspended for 30 days with intent to dismiss as a result of the incident as well.  However; no charges has been bought against him as of yet.  The third officer, who was a passenger and yet to be identified, resigned shortly after reportedly failing a drug test.  The District Attorney says the investigation is on-going.

The “on-going” investigation has been in progress since January 31st, 2017.  The incident was captured on cameras located along Cottman Avenue.  It seems pretty clear cut that the other driver should be charged with conspiracy and involuntary manslaughter as well.  But for his actions, Soto would have no one to engage in a race and Danny Dimitri would still be here with his family.

The diligence and strength of the family of Danny Dimitri is powerful.  Unfortunately, this is only the beginning of a long legal process, to get justice for their brother.

It’s ironic that when Christopher Bloomfield and Ryan Farrell was involved in an accident that claimed the life of three people while involved in a drag race, it took little time for both of them to be charged.  Also, look at the charges for Bloomfield:

Pending Arrest of P/O Adam Soto For the Death of Danny Dimitri

Philadelphia Police Officer Adam Soto of the 24th District is scheduled to surrender himself on Wednesday for the killing of Danny Dimitri.

Danny Dimitri was walking on Cottman Avenue near Algon on January 31, 2017 when he was struck by off-duty Officer Soto who was allegedly drag racing another police officer assigned to the 12th District.

The entire video was captured by cameras at various businesses on Cottman Avenue.  The video shows Soto striking Mr. Dimitri, and then returning to the scene, but failed to offer first aid.

Ironically, there were three first responders who were involved.  The passenger, who was assigned to the 12th District, a three-year veteran, resigned after allegedly failing a drug test.

Danny Dimitri, who was headed to work, was struck so hard, the impact tore away his clothing.  This was 11:30am and occurred across the street from Northeast High School.

It took approximately 3 months for a decision to be made to arrest Officer Soto.  The problem is, why the other driver isn’t being charged.

akhmedov_holloman   It wasn’t too long ago when Khusen Akhmedov and Ahmen Holloman was drag racing on Roosevelt Boulevard.  Akhmedov received 17 to 34 years in jail.  The other man, Ahmen Holloman, who was reportedly drag racing Akhmedov, but wasn’t involved in the accident, received five to ten years in prison.  In that case, a mother and three children were killed because of the reckless behavior of the men.

Then there’s another drag racing duo, who killed three people.  Ryan Farrell, 20, of Bustleton, and Christopher Bloomfield, 20 of Lawncrest, were arrested after three people were killed as they engaged in drag racing.  Bloomfield, who struck a tree and immediately killing two people, and trapping a third, is still in prison on a 2 million dollar bail.

Ryan Farrell, the other driver, who was speeding on Red Lion Road near Sandmeyer, but didn’t strike anyone, was later arrested on charges of causing an accident involving death, homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle and involuntary manslaughter.

02222016_Farrell_Bloomfield_fatal_.2e16d0ba.fill-735x490

The District Attorney has reportedly only charged Soto, and not the other off-duty cop.  That is a problem.  Danny Dimitri went about his day the same as the rest of us, on his way to work.  His life was ended because at least two cops, decided to engage in reckless behavior.  Their decision cost him his life.  His mother will never be the same.  His sister will never be the same.  His family is forever changed by the poor decisions these law enforcement officer made on the morning of January 31st, 2017.

Apparently, when civilians engage in the same reckless behavior as cops, and the deadly result is the same, there is a different standard.

The video is graphic and stomach-turning.  There must be justice, completely, for Danny Dimitri.  And his loving family.  The District Attorney should do the right thing and hold everyone involved in this travesty, accountable.

Philly Cop Shoots Husband In Domestic Dispute In Bucks County

A Philadelphia Police Officer shot her husband in an alleged domestic dispute in the county.  The couple lived in the Holland, Pennsylvania.  The couple’s three children, 1, 7 and 13 in the home on the 100 block of Marmic Road at the time, according to police.  Rumor has it the officer is Caren Perez.

The Northampton Police Department is on location.

Stay Tuned.

The Last Round: Sergeant Sheila Pressley

Sergeant Sheila Pressley has a long history of being combative.  Sergeant Pressley will take on women or men.  She is one tough hombre.

A while ago, it was alleged an 7 year old rape victim was treated harshly by Pressley.  As a result of the mishandled case, justice for the perpetrator was delayed by four years.

See police report here.  Then Police Officer Sheila Pressley received a six day suspension for mishandling the case.

It has been reported that Pressley’s last fight was with a male Sergeant in the 17th District.  Pressley allegedly punched the male Sergeant in the face.  Ouch.   By all accounts, the Sergeant is a gentleman.

As reported previously here, Sergeant Karen Taylor and Officer Lydia Jamerson had a fist-fight on-duty in the Courts.  By all accounts, the Sergeant chewed off a bit more than she could handle and got beat up pretty bad.

Fighting on-duty is problematic.  Another famous fight, Northwest Detective Division big fight was between on-duty Detective Brian Kelly vs. Detective Coughlin.  The room in Northwest Detectives was held as a crime scene.  The incident resulted in Kelly getting stitches from the alleged ass whipping he received.  Neither of them were disciplined, much less fired.

Sergeant Art Herder had many fights during his career.  In one incident, he went into the FOP with a hoodie and attacked another Police Officer from Highway Patrol.  Herder also verbally sparred with many other police officers and supervisors, including women supervisors.  Herder was terminated after an off-duty altercation.  Amazingly, he lost his arbitration.  Of all the fights he allegedly had while on duty, it seems weird this fight would do him in.  It seems Herder should have won his arbitration.  People are starting to notice a pattern.

It should be noted that Pressley has had many fights during her tenure with the Police Department.  One involving a female police officer in the 22nd District who was on the losing side of Pressley’s rage.

Rumor has it, this is the last round, at least for now, for Sergeant Pressley.  She has been given 30 days with intent to dismiss.  Maybe the FOP will get Pressley’s job back, unlike Art Herder, who lost both his arbitration and was unable to appeal for himself because the FOP fought against him.  Rumor has it that Pressley may have fallen out of favor with the FOP.  Hopefully, that won’t impact her arbitration.

People are watching and keeping tabs on the cops who are losing their arbitrations.
