What is going on in the Homicide Unit?

Detective Gregory Singleton and Detective Nathan Williams of the Homicide Unit is allegedly the latest casualty of the ex- Homicide Detective Phil Nordo scheme.

Detective Singleton and Williams have been relieved of their guns and assigned to the DVIC.   There is also an allegation that Singleton and Williams were involved in a scheme in which they had people call in the TIPS hotline and then split the reward with the fake tipsters.

They will join, accused Homicide Detectives for lying under oath, Freddie Mole and Joseph Murray who are the center of an ongoing war with the District Attorney’s Office who have irrefutable evidence the detectives lied under oath.

Homicide Detective James Pitts is also at the DVIC.  Former Homicide Detective Ron Dove was convicted of helping his girlfriend who was involved in a homicide.

Homicide Detective John Komorowski, who was recently captured on film using the N-word, after allegedly getting caught, literally, with his pants down, with a prostitute.  He was allegedly on duty in a unmarked police car.

Is there a pattern and practice in the Homicide Unit of misconduct?

Homicide Detective Gun Taken

A Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Detective had his gun taken.  The ongoing rumor has it that it involved child pornography was totally FALSE.  This rumor has been proven to be untrue.   The Detective is allegedly providing money to a witness on a homicide case.  If this is true, there is a problem with the case, but it’s probably not illegal, but department violations and the case will probably be tossed.

This detective was benched.  That has been verified.

Rumor has it the Homicide Detective is Phil Nordo.  Detective Phil Nordo is reported to be respected within the department.  However; if he has paid money to a witness, this will be a HUGE problem.

Stay tuned.
